Yongshun County has two world-famous tourist attractions. Site of Laosicheng Tusi Domain is the first and only world cultural heritage site in Hunan, and Furong Town is one of the core parks of Xiangxi UNESCO Global Geopark and the main venue of the 3rd Xiangxi Tourism Development Conference.

With the implementation of China’s 144-hour visa-free transit policy, “China Travel” has made headlines on social media for many times, and more and more foreign tourists are flocking to Yongshun.
Yongshun has a long history and profound culture, with a strong ethnic flavor. It has 11 national intangible cultural heritage projects such as Tujia hand-waving dance, daliuzi, and Maogusi dance, which can provide a rich ethnic cultural experience for tourists.
During the conference, attending leaders and guests will be organized to visit the Furongshan Wellness Park Study Base, Xiangxi UNESCO Global Geopark Museum, and the core scenic area of Furong Town, and various activities will be launched, such as Tujia cuisine tasting, an exhibition of Xiangxi’s 40-year Tourism, and an agricultural tourism integration product display.
After the conference, Yongshun will also hold such activities as the 2nd Hunan Ethnic Film Exhibition and the cultural tourism promotion conference of the Bu’ermen Hot Spring, attracting people to experience Yongshun’s ethnic culture in a comprehensive way.
In recent years, Yongshun County has made efforts to promote the quality improvement and efficiency of the cultural tourism industry in a bid to develop it into a world-renowned tourist destination, with Laosicheng to be created into national 5A-level scenic area and Furong Town to be built into a national tourist resort.
Yongshun has planned 52 key projects for the tourism development conference, and set up a main venue and three sub venues in Furong Town Scenic Area, Laosicheng Tourist Resort, and Tawo Town.
The main venue of this conference will be located at the Yingpanxi Huayuewan Performing Arts Center in Furong Town Scenic Area. The Xiangxi North Tourist Distribution Center, a key construction project of the conference, is also built in the Furong Town Scenic Area, and consists of a tourist reception center, a shuttle bus service center, commercial buildings, hotels, etc.
The conference will be held under a government-guided, and business-led cooperation model to create a market-oriented, and high-efficient conference environment. As the third Xiangxi Tourism Development Conference approaches, the tourism market in Yongshun County is showing new vitality.
